Emergency box office collection: Kangana Ranaut's film jumps on Saturday, earns Rs 6 crore in two days

Emergency box office collection day 2: Kangana Ranaut-starrer and directorial Emergency is running low at the box office, but still performing better than the week's second release, Azaad. The early estimates of Saturday are shared by Sacnilk, and then it shows a good jump 

As per the trade portal, Emergency has collected Rs 3.50 crores on Saturday. The movie earned Rs 2.50 crores on Friday, and with Saturday's collection, the movie has earned Rs 6 crores in two days. Kangana's film is expected to show another good jump on Sunday. 

As per the trade portals, Emergency is made in the budget of Rs 60 crores (Inclusive Print and Advertising costs). Going by the trend, Emergency might not recover its high budget, but positive word of mouth will help the film to sustain for weeks.

Sadhguru reviews Emergency

Spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev attended the screening of Kangana Ranaut's much-anticipated political drama 'Emergency' on Friday, where he expressed his thoughts on the film's significance, especially for younger audiences. "The youth must watch this film as it gives us a chance to know about history," he said. While acknowledging the complexity of the subject matter, Sadhguru also praised the way it was presented. "A very complex subject but fantastically presented," he remarked, adding that compressing such a significant historical event into a two-and-a-half-hour film is no easy task. Addressing the film's portrayal of historical events, Sadhguru said that 'Emergency' serves as an important learning tool.

Directed by Kangana herself, the film explores the political turmoil and societal impacts of the emergency, with Kangana playing the role of Indira Gandhi. The film also stars Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, and the late Satish Kaushik.
