IAS Athar Aamir Khan is a prominent Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer known for his incredible achievement in the UPSC Civil Services Examination of 2015. At the young age of 23, he secured the All India Rank (AIR) 2, making him a household name, especially in his home state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Athar often makes headlines, not just for his professional achievements but also for his personal life. In 2018, he married IAS Tina Dabi, the topper of the same UPSC batch. The couple met during their training and became a much-talked-about pair. However, their marriage ended in divorce in 2021. Shortly after Tina remarried, Athar found love again with Dr. Mehreen Qazi, a doctor and social media influencer. The two got engaged and later married, capturing public attention once more.
The couple recently shared a major milestone in their life. In June 2024, Athar and Mehreen welcomed a baby boy into their family. Sharing the joyous news on Instagram, they wrote, "Almighty has blessed us with a baby boy!" Their followers flooded the post with warm wishes and congratulatory messages, celebrating the couple's happiness.
Dr. Mehreen Qazi, like her husband, has an impressive career. Hailing from Kashmir, she is a doctor with significant credentials and an active presence on social media. Mehreen holds a Master’s degree in Medicine and a PG Diploma in Clinical Cosmetology from the UK. She also completed a fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine in Denmark. Mehreen has served as a scientific officer at the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre in Delhi, showcasing her dedication to healthcare.
According to her LinkedIn profile, she also holds a PG Diploma in Obstetrics & Medical Gynaecology from Queen Mary University of London and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Ambedkar University, Delhi. With a UK license and board certification in Internal Medicine, she has a wealth of experience in both hospital and clinical settings, providing top-notch care to diverse populations. Mehreen’s impressive achievements and Athar’s remarkable journey make them a truly inspiring couple.
