CSK shares 'therapawtic' video of MS Dhoni grooming his pet dog with daughter Ziva, watch viral video

Former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni, affectionately referred to as 'Captain Cool,' is known for his humble nature outside of the game. A recent post on social media captured a heartwarming moment of Dhoni spending time with his pet dog, along with his beautiful daughter, Ziva.

In the video, Dhoni and Ziva were spotted showering love on their pet dog. As Dhoni gently brushed the dog's fur, Ziva offered her little hands to help, creating a heartwarming moment that showcased their family bond. This moment highlighted Dhoni's gentler side, contrasting with his calm presence on the cricket field.

Soon after this video was shared, it quickly went viral, garnering over 1,50,000 and numerous comments and likes. One user wrote, "Man enjoying His life after retirement." Another wrote, "Dhoni is always a role model for all. Very kind in treating the dog."

Meanwhile, Dhoni, who played a crucial role in leading India to three ICC titles between 2007 and 2013, recently shared his thoughts on social media and public relations. Since his debut in 2004, Dhoni has observed the emergence of platforms like Twitter and Instagram, yet he has consistently maintained that performing well in cricket eliminates the need for extra PR efforts.

“I have never been a big fan of social media. Throughout, I have had so many managers and all of them keep pushing. I started playing in 2004; Twitter got popular later on, after which Instagram came in. All the managers told me, ‘you should do some PR, build this and build that’. I had the same answer that if you play good cricket, you don’t need PR,” Dhoni said on Eurogrip Tred Talks.

MS Dhoni is all set to participate in his 18th edition of the IPL later this year. Before the mega auction held last year, the Chennai Super Kings retained him for INR 4 crore.
