The controversial reality show Bigg Boss 18 ended on Sunday, January 19, with its dhamakedaar Grand Finale. Karan Veer Mehra defeated the other five finalists Vivian Dsena, Rajat Dalal, Avinash Mishra, Chum Darang, and Eisha Singh to become the winner. He took home the cash prize of Rs 50 lakh and the coveted trophy.

After Karan Veer Mehra's victory, netizens shared their excitement on social media and called him 'the most deserving winner' since Sidharth Shukla. Sidharth Shukla won Bigg Boss 13 in 2020. Karan and him are the only two individuals who have won Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi. While Karan won the stunt-based reality show in 2024, Shukla became its winner in 2016. Sidharth passed away after suffering a heart attack in 2021.

Beginning in October 2024, Bigg Boss 18 saw a total of 23 contestants throughout its journey.
