PM Modi address on India Pakistan tension: I dedicate Op Sindoor to every mother, sister and daughter

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday addressed the nation over the recent India Pakistan tension and amid the ceasefire. PM Modi hailed the valour of the Indian Army soldiers who have the befitting reply to Pakistan's continuous military attacks in India. He also hailed the succesful 'Operation Sindoor' of the Indian Armed Forces in which the Indian forces thwarted every attempt of Pakistan to break India. Honouring the efforts of the forces an d scientists at this cricual time, PM modi saluted them. 

PM Modi said, "We all have seen the capability and patience of the country in the last few days. I salute the armed forces, the military, the intelligence agency and the scientists." The past one week saw tremendous exchange of fire as the countries faced a war like situation which increased tensions between the two. He 'dedicated' the 'bravery and courage' to 'mothers, sisters and daughter' who showed bravery amid the loss of the men in their families. Modi said, "Today, I dedicate this valour, bravery, courage (of armed forces) to every mother of our country, to every sister of the country and to every daughter of the country." 

This is his first address since Operation Sindoor was launched on May 7 in retaliation for the horrific terror attack in Pahalgam. The address also comes days after the ceasefire was announced after four days of hostilities from Pakistan amid Operation Sindoor.On April 22, the day Pahalgam terrorist attack took place, many newlywed women lost their husbands, some of them were even in the Indian Armed Forces. Many children lost their fathers and mothers their sons. The Prime Minister had said last month that the perpetrators of the Pahalgam terror attack would face punishment beyond their imagination. India, on May 7, launched precision strikes on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, in which over 100 terrorists were killed. 

The day is one of the brutal and inhumane in the history of India Pakistan tension. Addressing the nation on this barbaric incident, Modi said, "On 22 April, in Pahalgam, the barbarism that terrorists have shown have shaken the country and the world. Those innocent people who were celebrating the leaves were killed in front of their families, after being asked about their religion."

After Operation Sindoor, Pakistan again attempted to hurt India by conducting drone attacks and firing missiles, Turkish Asisguard SONGAR drones and other deadly weapons. The Indian Forces fought with S-400 and other missiles to give a stern reply to Pakistan's escalation. "We have given full freedom to the Indian army to wipe out the terrorists", Modi said. Being proud of the Indian operation, PM Modi said, ""Indian armed forces attacked the terrorist sites in Pakistan. Terrorists wouldn't have dreamed that India would take such big steps... When Indian missiles and drones attacked those sites in Pakistan, it was not just the buildings of the terrorists, but their courage was thrashed..." 

Pakistan again crossed its limit by violating ceasefire just hours after it agreed for it with India last Saturday.
