'Bahawalpur, Muridke universities of terrorists': PM Modi says in address to the nation today on Operation Sindoor's success amid India-Pakistan's ceasefire

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Monday evening, speaking for the first time since India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7. This powerful military action was carried out in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which shook the entire country. In his speech, PM Modi shared important details about the operation and sent a clear message to both terrorists and the nations that support them.

PM Modi revealed that over 100 terrorists were killed in the precision strikes carried out by Indian forces in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He proudly said that not just the terror camps, but even the “spirit” of these groups was crushed. The Prime Minister also named Bahawalpur and Muridke as places in Pakistan that act like universities for terrorists, training and encouraging violence.

He strongly praised the Indian Armed Forces for their courage and dedication, saying that strength is very important for the development of India. “And when needed, this strength must be used in the right way,” he added. He saluted the armed forces for acting swiftly and powerfully in the face of terror.

According to the Prime Minister, Pakistan began to panic after the strikes. They turned to the international community for help and, on May 10, the Pakistani military contacted India’s DGMO, asking to stop further escalation. But by then, India had already caused major damage to terrorist infrastructure.

PM Modi made it clear that India sees no difference between terrorists and the governments that support them. He said, “We will not differentiate between a government under the influence of terrorists and the handlers of terrorists.”

This strong address showed that India is serious about fighting terrorism. The message was clear, India will not stay silent and will take bold steps to protect its people.
