'Kaanta Laga' actress and Bigg Boss 13 fame Shefali Jariwala passes away at the age of 42 in Mumbai. As per reports, she suffered a cardiac arrest on the night of June 27. Her husband, Parag Tyagi rushed her to the hospital but was declared dead.  Journalist Vickey Lalwani was the first one to post the news about her demise. However, official statement from the family is awaited. Her sudden demise has sent shockwaves among the television industry, with condolences for her family pouring in.

Last post on X about 'Dost' Sidharth Shukla

Shefali Jariwala's last post on X was about her 'ex-boyfriend' and friend Sidharth Shukla. She posted a 'sweet' picture with Sidharth Shukla, way back in September 2024, on X on his third death anniversary. The photo featured both actors hugging each other inside the Bigg Boss house with caption, 'Thinking of you mere dost.'

Shefali Jariwala and Sidharth Shukla are both popular Television actors. They both were in a relationship for a brief period over 15 years ago. While Shefali married Parag Tyagi, Sidharth Shukla dated Shehnaaz Gill. However both remained good friends even after their breakup. 

Died due to cardiac arrest

Both television actors died in their 40s due to cardiac arrest. Sidharth Shukla died on 2 September 2021 at the age of 40 and Shefali Jariwala died on 27 June 2025 at the age of 42. Both died in Mumbai 4 years apart, and both were sent to Mumbai's 'Cooper Hospital'. The reason behind Shefali's death is yet to be revealed, but reports suggest it is due to cardiac arrest.

Shefali Jariwala and Sidharth Shukla were co-contestant in the 13th season of Bigg Boss in 2019, which was one of the most popular season, hosted by Salman Khan. Sidharth Shukla met Shehnaaz Gill in this season. Sidharth moved on to become the winner of this season.
