IND-W vs IRE-W: Smriti Mandhana smashes record century against Ireland as India post their highest ever ODI total

In the third ODI against Ireland at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot, the Indian women's team achieved a notable milestone by surpassing 400 runs for the first time in their history. India scored 435 runs in 50 overs, setting a new record for the highest score in Indian cricket history, including both men's and women's ODIs, thanks to spectacular hundreds from openers Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal.

On the other hand, the Indian Men's team's highest-ever ODI total is 418, which they achieved against the West Indies in 2011—a game in which skipper Virender Sehwag scored an incredible double-century. Returning to the Indian Women's team, captain Smriti Mandhana and opening batter Pratika Rawal both scored centuries to demonstrate their extraordinary batting ability. Richa Ghosh, batting at number three, contributed a quick 59 runs off just 42 balls, while the two produced an incredible 233-run partnership for the first wicket.

Pratika Rawal achieved her first century with an incredible 154 runs off 129 balls, including 20 fours and a six, while Smriti Mandhana scored 135 runs from 80 balls, hitting 12 fours and seven sixes. From the first over onwards, they batted aggressively until Rawal was dismissed in the 44th over.

India finished their innings at 435 runs for the loss of five wickets, marking the first time they had reached the 400-run mark. The team set a new record with 48 fours and nine sixes. In Women's ODIs, India's 435 score is also the fourth-highest total.
