Her wealth grew by an astounding $25 billion in just one year, placing her on the verge of joining the exclusive group of centi-billionaires—those with fortunes exceeding $100 billion—including names like Elon Musk, Bill Gates, and Warren Buffett. Meanwhile, Bettencourt Meyers experienced a decline in her fortune, dropping by $10 billion due to a 13% dip in L’Oréal's stock, leaving her with $90 billion.

Instead, she channeled her energy into the arts, establishing the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas, in 2011.
