Actor Saif Ali Khan’s unverified bill has been leaked online, and it shows an initial requested amount of Rs 35,98,700 against an approved amount of Rs 250,00,000. The document states that the actor suffered an injury to an unspecified region. However, it should be noted that the document has not been verified by the hospital authorities, and has been doing rounds on social media.
Earlier, in the day, Mumbai police recovered an old sword from the actor’s house, it is unclear if it is a part of the actor’s ancestral property. Safi, who belongs to the lineage of Nawabs, is the owner of many antique and priced possessions including the Pataudi Palace in Haryana.
In another report, the actor is likely to be discharged on January 21 as per a document related to the hospital billing. An insurance claim, which has been leaked online, furnishes the details of Saif’s discharge on January 21. It also shows an initial requested amount of Rs 35,98,700 against an approved amount of Rs 250,00,000.
After getting stabbed by a burglar six times at his apartment in Bandra, in the wee hours of Thursday midnight, Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital. A 2.5 mm-inch blade was removed from Saif's spine after a five-hour surgery. At the media briefing, Dr Nitin Dange from Lilavati Hospital said, "Saif Ali Khan is doing excellent. We made him walk and he can walk well. There is no problem and not much pain" He further said, "We have shifted him from the ICU to a special room. The visitors' movement has been restricted for almost a week due to the injury in his spine. It has a potential chance for spreading infection."

The Bollywood fraternity is reeling in shock after actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed multiple times during an attempted burglary at his Bandra residence. Shahid Kapoor, speaking at the press conference for his upcoming film Deva, wished Saif a speedy recovery and expressed deep concern over the incident.
"It's a very sad incident. All of us are extremely shocked. We hope Saif's health improves soon. It’s difficult to absorb that something like this could happen in Mumbai, a city we proudly call safe," said Shahid.
