Saif Ali Khan meets Bhajan Singh Rana, auto rickshaw driver who saved his life after stabbing attack, poses with him

Saif Ali Khan returned home on Tuesday, January 21, from the hospital, and the first thing he did was an informal meet with the auto-rickshaw driver who saved his life. Saif met Bhajan Singh Rana, and thanked him for taking him to the Lilavati Hospital on time, which ultimately saved his life from multiple stab wounds. Saif met Bhajan and posed with him with a big smile. This is indeed a good gesture for a person who acted as a life-saving angel at such a crucial time. 

In the viral photo, Saif is seen posing with Bhajan Singh candidly, keeping his arm on Singh's shoulder, and smiling into the camera. Saif even hugged Bhajan Singh and thanked him for his generosity. The Race actor looked dapper wearing a white shirt with a perfect hairdo, and Bhajan Singh wore a blue shirt. They clicked this photo while sitting on the special bed.

For the unversed, Bhajan Singh Rana was the auto-rickshaw driver who took the injured Saif Ali Khan to Lilavati Hospital, after he got stabbed six times in the wee hours of January 16. 

After the attack, Saif Ali Khan had to rely on a humble auto-rickshaw for emergency transportation to the hospital after the brutal attack. An auto-rickshaw driver named Bhajan Singh played a crucial role in him to Lilavati Hospital. Singh’s act ensured Saif received timely medical attention. In an interview with ANI, he stated, "I was summoned to the Bandra Police Station for questioning. That night, I didn't think about money. So far, I haven't been contacted by Kareena Kapoor or anyone else, and we haven't had any conversation."

He said that his sole priority was getting Saif to the hospital quickly, without giving a thought to payment. "I was completely focused, my only concern being to get the injured person to the hospital swiftly. While we were in the rickshaw, Saif asked how long it would be until we reached the hospital. Seven or eight minutes later, I parked the rickshaw at the hospital gate," he recalled.
