Actress Kiara Advani will be entering 2025 with a bang. Her first release of the year would be the pan-India action-thriller Game Changer. S Shankar's directorial stars Ram Charan in the lead, and Kiara is paired opposite him. Ahead of the release, team Game Changer fly to Mumbai for promotions. 

The event was attended by Ram Charan, SJ Suriah with producer Dil Raju, and distributor Anil Thadani (he's the distributor of Game Changer Hindi dub). However, Kiara Advani went missing from the event. Kiara was expected to join the cast, but at the end moment, it was announced that Kiara would not be present for the event. 

Why Kiara Advani missed the Game Changer event? 

Before the event, the MC announced that Kiara wouldn't be joining them as she's been hospitalised. Earlier there were rumours that the actress was hospitalised and it was also linked to her pregnancy. However, soon after the event started, the spokesperson of the actress issued a statement that reads, "Kiara Advani has not been hospitalised, she’s been advised to rest due to exertion as she’s been working not stop." However, Kiara did promotion of Game Changer with Ram Charan at Bigg Boss 18, and interacted with BB contestants.

Censor certificate of Game Changer 

As 123Telugu reported, Game Changer has been granted a U/A certificate by the CBFC with an expected runtime of two hours and 45 minutes. Regardless, a few surprising objections have caught the fans’ attention. While one of the objections is regarding the film’s title as the board has asked the makers to present the title in Telugu alongside English. Even the removal of the honourary prefix of “Padma Shri" before Brahmanandam’s name surprised fans.

Ram Charan slashed his fees for Game Changer

According to reports by Great Andhra, Ram Charan has taken a salary of Rs 65 crore for the upcoming film, a reduced amount considering his global fame following the success of RRR. The report further disclosed that director S. Shankar received a hefty sum of Rs 35 crore for directing the film. Meanwhile, Kiara Advani, the film's leading lady, is reportedly earning a substantial Rs 5-7 crore for her role. Game Changer will be released in cinemas on January 10. In the north, the film will be clashing with Sonu Sood's Fateh.
