On the night of June 27, Shefali Jariwala passed away after suddenly suffering a cardiac arrest at her Andheri residence. Shefali was only 42 years old. 

Before Parag Tyagi, Shefali was married to Harmeet Singh (from Meet Bros). The duo got married in 2004, but their marriage lasted for five years, and they divorced in 2009. 

As per the reports, among the major reasons behind their separation were emotional and mental abuse. After the separation, Shefali discussed her failed marriage in several interviews, and she said, “Not every kind of violence is physical. There is a lot of mental violence that also happens, and you are very unhappy in your life.” 

Harmeet Singh and Manmeet Singh, popularly known as Meet Bros, started their journey by acting in TV serials. Harmeet acted in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki and Kkusum. Manmeet produced some comedy shows for Star Plus. Later, they both featured in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. By mid-2000, they started moving away from acting, and in 2010, they quit acting and ventured into music. Over the years, they composed and sang popular songs, including Boss, Ragini MMS 2 (whose song Baby Doll was a chartbuster), Kick, Roy, and Satyaprem Ki Katha.

After suffering a heartbreak and a failed marriage, Shefali found love again and got married to actor Parag Tyagi in 2015. Sadly, they don't have any kids.
