Honda Elevate Black Edition launched in India at Rs 15.51 Lakh: Key things to know

Honda has unveiled its latest Elevate Black Edition in the Indian market, introducing two distinct variants: the Black Edition and the Signature Black Edition. These editions are based on the ZX variant of the standard Elevate and are now available for pre-booking. 

The model is dominated by an all-black front and rear design, with the model’s hashtag being #shineinblack. A crystal black pearl exterior coupled with gloss black multi-spoke R17 alloy wheels makes this stylish variant stand out. It also features a chrome grille garnish and silver inserts on the roof rails, a minor deviation from the all-black colour scheme. Additionally, there is a ‘Black Edition’ emblem, displayed prominently on the tailgate. A special signature badge is positioned on the fender emphasising the exclusivity of the signature model. 

The model carries its all-black contour in its interior as well. The cabin sports a stylish piano black garnish, along with sporty black seats featuring black stitching which are further complemented by black door pads, armrests, and instrument panels. The ambience of the car is further enhanced with rhythmic seven-colour ambient lighting. 

Both the editions are powered by Honda's 1.5-liter petrol engine, which powers the regular SUV, delivering 119 bhp and 145 Nm of torque. Customers have the option of a six-speed manual or a seven-speed CVT (automatic) transmission. While the Black Edition manual version is priced at Rs 15.51 lakh, the Signature Edition is priced at Rs 15.71 lakh. The price of the automatic models is slightly higher, with the Black Edition priced at Rs 16.73 lakh and the Signature Edition priced at Rs 16.93 lakh. 

Deliveries for the CVT variants are set to commence in January 2025, with manual transmission variants following in February 2025. The introduction of the Elevate Black Edition underscores Honda's commitment to offering stylish and feature-rich options tailored to the preferences of Indian consumers.
